FAQ for Vickroy Park in Burbank California:
Great neighborhood park with play equipment and a short walking path. Bathrooms are generally clean and in working order. Picnic tables that are actually usable. I don’t remember if there are BBQ grills, as we had a cold picnic. Seems to be a popular place for play dates and kids parties.
Perfect little park for my older dog 🐕 who loves a quiet, chill, extra grassy/plenty of trees environment ❤️ There aren’t a lot of people around but everyone that I have met is very nice 😊 Lots of shady 🌳 trees, a few scattered picnic tables, a half court for 🏀 basketball, good sized 🛝 playground at the center of the park, clean public restrooms 🚻 (where do you ever see that in L.A. anymore?!), and a lovely, hand-painted, neighborhood pickup/drop-off ‘library exchange box’ for sharing/borrowing 📚 books. It’s literally a ‘hidden gem’ at the center of a one-way roundabout. As always, leash and pick up after your 🐕🦺 dog – especially here at night, since coyotes have been known to drop in on this ‘delightfully grassy island’ after the 🌄 sun goes down… 😉
Very nice park the men’s room was pretty gross. But otherwise a very present place to play.
