Very nice, no frills hotel with a beautiful water and bridge view. Easy, friendly check in. Clean room with awesome showers! Very quiet. Close to many coastal towns and served as a retreat from the bustle elsewhere with much lower rates. Nice paved walkway behind hotel along water with view of Penebscot bridge.

Nah

EDIT- ignore the owners response. There was no misinterpreting what was said. I was told very rudely to leave because it was private property. If you were so good at customer service, you wouldn’t be saying it’s private property.
Your staff member was being a Karen, sorry for your misinterpretation of the situation that happened

Parked in the parking lot for 10 minutes to eat on a long road trip. The parking lot is nearly empty. Some old lady come out and says “what are you doing?” After explaining, she says ” you need to leave, we are doing parking lot stuff today. This is private property” in a hateful tone

I’m not sure what ‘parking lot stuff’ but there was no need to be rude. We will find a room somewhere else.

There’s even a “Dairy Port” about two blocks away that’ll built you any type sundae. you can dream up!! When there’s a great little walk along the peaceful waterfront you’ll want to take. Great place overall.

The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the area. The location is also ideal, close to local attractions and easy to get around. While the hotel has a lot of charm, it could use a bit of remodeling to freshen things up. That said, the overall experience was very positive.
