This park is unbelievable!! I came over from Ahwatukee just to check it out, and I am so glad I did!!!
Soccer fields, basketball courts, splash pad, big and small dog parks, lake with fishing, nice 0.35 mile walking path around the lake perimeter that extends all over the park, and lots of glass and turf! Plus, really clean and large bathrooms on site.
This is really a treat for those in the West valley!
This park in Buckeye was such a nice surprise! The splash pad, playgrounds, and big open fields make it perfect for families, and there’s even a dog park and a big lake with picnic spots. My niece had a blast we’ll definitely be back!
It’s amazing. Clean. But not really safe for toddlers and babies. People there seems some have no business to be around families and kids. For many times I take my kids and I don’t feel comfortable safe for my children. I don’t see police around. Must be watching them like a hawk which is normally what’s parents do but here you need to be more careful.
What a great park in an unassuming part of Buckeye. The splash pad is good size with bathrooms nearby as well as a few lockers. There are two playgrounds depending on age. The dog park is large, but when we went it was definitely too hot for pups to be out. The soccer fields are huge and I could see so many weekend games being played here. There was a huge lake with so many picnic tables, but unsure if fishing is allowed. I’d come again. My niece had a great time.
Sundance Park is just as awesome as Alamar Park—maybe even better in some ways! The beach volleyball courts here are legit, perfect for a game under the lights with. Plus, the water fountains are a lifesaver, serving up cold water and easy bottle/camel-bag refills. The whole place has a clean, well-lit vibe that feels super welcoming, and you can tell they really take care of it. Buckeye nailed it with this spot, and I’m definitely coming back to enjoy it again!
