🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Located on Cross Creek Dr, Brunswick Dog Park offers a dedicated spot for canine companions and their owners to socialize and get exercise in a spacious, fenced environment. This dog park in Brunswick, Ohio features a separate area for small dogs and a larger section for bigger pups, both surrounded by a basic fence to keep your pets secure. Picnic tables and benches provide spots for owners to relax while their dogs play off-leash. The gravel lot offers wheelchair-accessible parking, making it easy for all dog lovers to visit.
While the park is a favorite among locals for its size and simplicity, visitors often note it could use more shade, improved grass maintenance, and more regular cleaning. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their own water, as there is no water fountain on-site, and to help keep the park clean by picking up after their pets. It’s a straightforward, no-frills destination for families and dog lovers seeking a friendly, pet-welcoming outing in the Brunswick area.
If only people would follow the rules and PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP. Some people are very inconsiderate to other dogs and people. I don’t wish to bring your poop home with me on the bottom of my dogs feet.
Small fenced in area. Only one or two trees for shade. A lot of dog poop everywhere. The grass doesn’t seem to be cut as often as it should be. The parking area has gravel that’s so fine it’s essentially sand and you have no choice but to walk your dogs through it before them getting back in the car and your car is left a mess of rock dust. But it’s not the smallest dog park I’ve seen.
Love the park, but not when it’s a muddy mess! Not able to go on a nice day in spring, unless you bring a dog bath. Dog parents can be hit or miss, many times they don’t even watch their dogs because they are glued to the phone.
This is a good size park for big and small dogs. I bring my dogs quite often, especially when in summer time. I haven’t had problem with other dogs or owners. The park used to have more obstacles and agility items, but currently it has only like two things available. I don’t know if is because of winter, but I think the park needs more maintenance.
I wish the park has water fountain and hose to clean their feet before leaving the place. It is still a good place for dogs to mingle, but the park needs some renovation (if possible)
It’s large enough for bigger dogs to run, and has a smaller area specifically for little ones. It’s very basic, average park. Just a fence around some land. A bench in the small area with a bench and picnic table and tunnel in the large dog area. The only thing I will say is the grass is always too high in the small dog area for little dogs to run, and in the big dog area people literally never both to pick up after themselves. So u have to bring a towel and water to clean their feet b4 getting into the car, plus water and a bowl to drink out of.
