FAQ for Dog Park in Brunswick Georgia:
Awesome little park right off the road . Nothing fancy but clean and free.
Very nice dog park, obstacle course, lots of room
Play yard with separate areas for large or small dogs. I enjoyed meeting other people who love their babies as well as I ❤
Good place for your dog to stretch their legs. Usually larger dogs here. It is one very large fenced in area with double entry gates. There is a water bowl in between the two gates and a few benches inside the fencing. Small trees planted. Nothing else inside park. I asked one of the locals about the safety and she said not to go when its dark. It is bounded north by a walking track with a lot of early morning foot traffic, on the east by divided Hwy 17, on the south and west by a strip of trees then neighborhood streets & homes. The park is only accessible by traveling south on 17. When you leave, if you want to go north on 17 – you have to do the 4 rights through a cute neighborhood behind the park & then left on 17. Usually no available clean up bags, people are okay about bringing & cleaning their own. You won’t hear any birds due to the traffic & i bet this place is an oven in summer but I’m very grateful to whomever thought to include a dog park. Dogs need exercise – so I am very thankful!
Pros: its close by my house but far enough away that my pup gets a decent walk in before we get to the dog parkCons: some folks dont clean behind their dogs so watch out for poo bombs; there are no obsticles or anything in the park, its just an fenced in field.
