Brownstown Dog Park offers a wheelchair accessible entry and parking, with designated areas for both small and larger dogs. While it provides a space for dog exercise, users have noted large rocks present a hazard and some maintenance concerns including cleanliness and hole digging. There is a fee to enter and some restrictions on non-residents of Brownstown Township. The park has ample parking but other amenities such as seating and covered shelters may not be available based on user reviews.

The fact you have to pay to use the dog park and enjoy with your dog. I think it’s outrageous, especially since how it’s so small that they can’t even really enjoy it. Save your money and just take your dogs for a walk.

My pup and I went here 4-7 times a week for almost five years. Wonderful space for running and a separate area for small dogs. They no longer allow people and dogs from out of Brownstown Township, so we can no longer utilize it. It doesn’t get maintained as frequently as it should be, watch out for droppings that many dog owners “forget”.

Not for your dog. Pay to play…

Had to leave the park people said their dog isn’t small dog friendly. Very rude

I like the layout of the Brownstown dog park except for the big rocks that my “clumsy while playing with other dogs” Labrador Retriever ran into at full speed. She was OK but I have heard of other dogs being severly injured from running into the sharp, large rocks throughout the Dog Park. Removing them would be a great idea?

I would recommend insisting that users pick up their dogs mess better as well as fill in all of the very deep holes their dogs “Dig Up”. Everybody needs to help keep the park clean or else we all lose!
