FAQ for Bryan Park MST Trailhead in Browns Summit North Carolina:
The trail there will make you want to buy a trail bike!Lots of great terrain for walking and riding.Immersive in forestry and some areas for sun exposure.I will likely be a regular.I don’t like that some idiots with no home training or respect for nature have chosen to litter along some of the trail and resting spots. Its pathetic.Thankfully its not extreme.
Not only is the parking lot for the actual trail blocked, we parked in a parking lot that said it closes at 7pm. We get to our car at 6:40 and our car was locked into that parking lot. So they must’ve locked it before 6:30 because we hadn’t seen a soul beforehand. Never coming here again
This a great trail to hike with your dog. It follows the shore of the lake and has many pretty views. I’m not great at rating trail difficulty but I’d put it are low-moderate. It was fall when we went and the main thing to watch out for was leaves covering roots that might cause you to trip.
Nice little walking trails through the woods. We saw and heard lots of birds, frogs, turtles, and insects. We did find two ticks crawling on us on our way home though – ‘tis the season! Always check yourself!
