Broomfield Commons Dog Park
Broomfield Commons Dog Park is a well-maintained, spacious park featuring separate areas for small and large dogs. It has excellent water facilities with fountains and a water pump operating for much of the year. The park is clean, welcoming, and wheelchair accessible with good parking available. While there is some shade from trees behind fences, additional shade could improve comfort during summer. The ground is sand/gravel, helping control odors, and the environment is friendly and safe for both dogs and children.

Great dog park. Always clean and well maintained. This one features a small dog area and a large dog area. Ground is a sand/gravel mix which does a good job or keeping the smell from urine down. There are trees that are behind fences so they arent damaged but the dogs and still able to provide some measure of shade.
Big dog park. Over 300ft x 300ft. Dog owners are more responsible here compared to other dog parks – not a lot of poop lying around at all. It’s only a year old so when the trees grow taller the dogs will have more shade. The water pump stays on for much longer than other dog parks too. Wasn’t turned off until November or December so we had over 9 months of water for the dogs.
We go at least once a week. I like that it has a separation for smaller dogs because I have two small shih tzus that just love it there. Also I do like that they have water fountains available to fill up your own containers for water for your pups.
I really love this dog park, its always clean, the people are respectful of your dog, and there is a water source available inside the park which is awesome ! No need to bring dog bowls unless its winter. They will shut the water off after the first frost. My only problem is there really isnt enough shade in the summer but i didnt want to dim the rating for that. They put up some shade posts but its not quite enough, maybe another two posts would help a lot. Over all great park.
