What a charming little picturesque park in the middle of a concrete jungle known as Brooklyn. There’s a ton to do in the park and it feels like it was designed flawlessly. I will say the one draw back is that the dog park is currently being renovated and is out of working order.
Excellent place for kids with play spaces for many age groups, a ball field, historical museum, water features, and gardens.
Definitely a huge park. Always a lot of people and kids. My favorite time is in the spring and summer. Lots of water spots for the kids and a huge field to play in as well also a soccer field. Good for all different age groups. Also a nice seating area for breakfast or lunch in the garden. My only concern is there are NO gates. So keep an eye on your little one there’s over 5-6 openings straight to the street. Could kind of be a little overwhelming but the kids like it and it’s always clean.
Wonderful park and playground in the heart of Park Slope/Gowanus. There are daily events and music performances by the Stone House, many smaller gardens, as well as various mini playgrounds. I love the water jets in the middle of the play ground area providing a very much needed summer cool off. There are restrooms as well.
