Located in the heart of Brooklyn, Sternberg Park offers dog owners a welcoming and pet-friendly environment with plenty of amenities for both pets and their people. Known for its community spirit, this park features two separate dog runs—one for large dogs and another for smaller breeds—providing a safe and fun space for all furry companions. With a mix of shade and open areas, Sternberg Park is a great destination for off-leash dog play, socialization, and exercise in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Beyond the dog runs, Sternberg Park includes playgrounds for kids, sports fields, and spots to rest, making it an ideal stop for families. The park is lauded for its cleanliness and the friendly, knowledgeable staff and trainers who host events like Sunday supervised dog play groups. Its convenient location near the Empire State Trail and available parking contribute to its appeal as one of the best dog parks in Brooklyn for residents and visitors alike.
This park is historical for all the people who still live and used to live in Williamsburg Brooklyn N.Y.C, the south side of Bushwick and other towns in the area, and glad that after I moved out of the state last weekend I passed by and saw that the little league baseball field its been restored now thy play adults softball but the park is back alive full with people
Decently sized park with two dog runs for big and small dogs. The actual field is under renovation for a year, but there are basketball courts, a squash court, and a playground. Can get crowded in the summer but it’s usually never busy.
Two baseball fields sharing the same outfield. Used for soccer too, but mostly baseball with schools using the space as long as the community. Only one field has seating. The other side has some parking.
There is a playground next door to the field.
Fix the fence we were playing soccer and my friends. Champions League ball is broken because it
was open.
Great park just wish more people picked up after their dog
