I went here most recently to see the 4th of July fireworks. Granted it was pretty far from the launching area (at or near the Brooklyn Bridge), but had a great time nonetheless! The ‘pier” that extends out into the East River a wee bit, offers an interesting view of Manhattan.

Nice little charming park overlooking Manhattan, East River, Queens, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Manhattan Bridge. There are plenty of benches, stairways, open grass field you can always sit and admire the views. Sometimes there are street musicians as well. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafes and boutiques on the same block. Highly recommended to just chill out.

I was looking for a local park to visit and decided on this one. 1st time visiting, 1st park is small but the great views more than make up for it. As you enter you’ll see a very cool mural. It has a nice Pier with plenty of benches to take in the great views of the Manhattan skyline and the Williamsburg bridge. There’s a small grassy area where you can lounge around to read a book, have a picnic or just relax. Park is located in the hip trendy area of Greenpoint. There’s portapotties available if you need restrooms. Overall its a neat little park which chill vibes. Wouldn’t mind visiting again.

I love this park. The views are great. I love the Mural. I find it very peaceful here. I’ve seen Ducks, Geese and even Swans glide by here, on the East River. I’ve also seen different types of boats. This is one of my happy places. It’s also very dog friendly and people I’ve met here are very nice.
