Working with Dominik has been a game changer for my dog’s recall and general obedience. It isn’t easy to find a behaviorist who will incorporate training aids like ecollars for added safety off-leash, but Dominik’s program does, and I greatly appreciate his ethical and compassionate approach to providing this balanced training. I also appreciate him traveling out of his way for our sessions, and his flexibility in allowing me to make game time decisions about keeping or rescheduling our sessions when the weather is looking rough. Overall, I’ve seen results since day one and learned a lot along the way. He is highly knowledgable and I’m amazed at how far we’ve come with his help. Thank you Dominik!
I have had Toby for 4 years and struggled to find a trainer that could really connect with Toby and solve some of his lingering issues- but Dominik did. Dominik gives a masterclass in dog psychology and helps you better understand how to interact with your dog to give them the best life and keep them happy. Our walks have become so much more enjoyable and his anxiety is definitely reduced. Dominik always made our sessions enjoyable and we looked forward to working with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog or looking to help their dog manage their emotions/anxieties.
This will sound cliché, but working with Dominik has changed our lives. We called him after I ended up being pulled into the mud on a walk and realized we had hit a wall with Snow’s reactivity.
Before training, Snow was slightly anxious, very reactive, and essentially hard to manage on walks. We felt overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. and trust me, we had tried many things.
From the very first session, Dominik brought a sense of calm, confidence, and clarity. Not just to our dog, but to us as owners.
We started with a test session where Dominik took the time to understand Snow and her triggers. We then decided on a package of six sessions, which turned out to be incredibly effective. After just the first two sessions, Snow was a different dog — and I was a different leader. With each session, we saw tangible progress, not just in Snow’s behavior, but in how we interacted with her. We became more confident, more consistent, and more connected to her needs.
Walks are no longer a source of stress. Snow is more relaxed, more responsive, and we’re finally enjoying our time together outdoors.
We couldn’t recommend Dominik highly enough. If you’re struggling or feeling stuck, don’t wait — working with him is one of the best decisions we’ve made for our dog and ourselves.
I cannot recommend Dominik enough. We adopted Franky, a pit mix who was extremely anxious around people and dogs and everytime I walked him, it was a nightmare – lunging at people, barking like a lunatic at any dog that he could see and pulling me down the street. Dominik was extremely patient with him and showed me and my husband how to lead which also gave Franky confidence that he is safe and no longer needs to be on guard all the time due to past abandonment and trauma. I truly believe that bringing him to Dominik saved him and made him a happier and more confident dog.
We had a great experience working with Dominik! Our dog Cooper had developed a lot of aggression towards strangers coming in the house. Dominik not only gave us a plan for tackling that specific issue, but was great in actually educating us about why our dog behaves the way he does, and how to react and work on training in other scenarios. By the end of the three sessions, we were able to have a guest come in the house and walk around, and Cooper was able to chill out and basically ignore him (something we could not have done three weeks ago!). I feel like we really have the tools now to continue working with Cooper and improving these behaviors in the future.
