Seems that shortest way to get to the beach is via official trail starting from McGuire Fields Tot lot playground (small fence protects kids from getting out) and pass under Belt Pkwy bridge lanes. Beautiful basin and bay views from the beach, fair amount of garbage strewn along the shore line, overall pretty good secluded walk.

Small beach where people walk, fish and a stopover for migratory birds such as the Canadian geese.
