Huge. Coming from a nanny: this place gets wildly crowded after school and during the summer. There is a lot to see and do (water, swings, etc) which is great, but super easy to lose track of a little one if you look away for a sec. It’s just massive.
This park is packed with kids after school hours. It’s great for kids who love a busy park. There are water features activated by 2 button timers. There is also a large turf in the back for football/soccer, which often has after-school sessions regularly. There are many nannies and regulars that live in the park slope area. There is a gated baby play area near the Stonehouse. The Stonehouse often helps host birthday parties and performers who use the park space throughout the year. Parents can feel safe since this park is in a very child friendly neighborhood.
