Public area lots of fishing. On weekends it can be loud with all the music. They do have a person who rents out bikes.👍🏾

I grabbed some food and decided to take the kids for a Saturday family time. The place where we bought food didn’t have a seating area so we just looked for the closest place to enjoy a meal in the outdoor. This was the first time we visited Canarise Pier, and I really enjoyed it. There was a big parking lot and it wasn’t crowded at all. The view of the water was refreshing and much needed after a long, stressful week. There is a green area where bikers ride around its trails. There is also a small playground for youngsters to enjoy. Very nice place that I would definitely take the family to for a day out.

Nice spot to kick it alone or with someone/ buddies.
During the fall/winter it’s peaceful and quiet.
When the weather starts to warm up, not so much. Unless you come early in the morning. Enjoy ☺️

1st time visiting this area of Brooklyn and I had a pleasant time. 1st there’s no fee to enter or park, there’s a ton of parking so that won’t be an issue. Plenty of seating with benches facing every direction so you won’t need to bring a chair. Restrooms located at the entrance of the pier. There’s a very small playground however it does not have swings. There’s a bike path that goes along the belt parkway which leads into parks nearby. If your a fishing enthusiast this is the place for you. It’s clearly a popular area for that. You’ll also see the plains go to/from JFK. Cool place to spend an nice afternoon everyone minds their own business.
