FAQ for Brookline Avenue Playground in Brookline Massachusetts:
Fenced-in playground with a lot of space, splash pad, picnic tables and benches, some lay-down swings and just a basic climbing area. It’s geared towards toddlers and smaller children. There are little shades though. There’s a porter potty on the nearby soccer field. The parking lot next to it is reserved only for the nearby school, but I suppose on weekends, they won’t mind.
Great for kids and dogs alike! Went here wirh my sister and her fiance and my 4 kids for a bagel breakfast and it was a smash hit. The place is beautiful, open, and so alive! Someone had even made a little fairy house under a tree!
Very nice big park with a parking lot, two picnic tables, two smaller tables and a splash pad. Lots of green area. Absolutely love this playground.
Such a nice big Park for pups, kids, and families! I love that they give our pups space to run around and socialize! The Brookline rotary club REALLY put on a great dog day here Sunday November 7th, I can’t wait for the next one!
There’s probably a dozen dogs of all sizes running and playing freely off-leash. Completely fenced in with locking gates. Waste bag receptacles. Water fountains not working on this visit (4-6-2021). Dogs are required to be leased outside of dawn to 1:00 PM, but it appears as long as there aren’t people wanting to use the park for sporting activities it’s ok to stay off-leash. That’s how it appears—I’m only here one day a month so not positive about the enforcement of leashes after 1:00 PM. Wide open field (grass) so you can see your dog everywhere they go in the park.
