A small riverside green area with a picnic table or two, and a place to sit and relax by an ambient river, with some historical mill sites and placards to read. A portapotty on site. The trail, is short, surrounded by a river, wildflowers and flora and an abandoned mill. At one point you have to cross the double lane highway at your own risk, with no clear crosswalk, signs or lights. Dangerous. Once across the street the trail dead ends a short distance down at the same highway.

Many wonderful places to visit in this area. They include small parking areas with views, tables, maybe a trail. Then there are State Parks, Beaches, and more picnicking. Many water features like falls, springs, lowlands/wetlands and more trails. The abundance of beautiful scenery, wildlife, and just breathtaking nature is like almost no where else. Most of the areas residents try very hard to keep it that way! These places are well maintained, kept clean and safe for the community and visitors to enjoy. Please help out by being responsible and respectful when visiting. Thanks to all the Towns and Communities that make this watershed area a fantastic place!

Beautifully designed park that ties the park with the river and the nature trails exceptionally well. Bonus that it’s dog friendly!

I’ve come here often over the recent months, and I find it to be peaceful when I need it to be, and also a place where I’ve crossed paths with some kind and talented craftspersons. It is the location of the Bristol Farmers Market each Saturday during the Summer Season. In addition to the walking paths, the Information Booth, the sounds and beauty of the river waters raging by, there’s a few benches where you can have a seat and take in what nature, and the people of the Newfound Lake Community have provided.
