Wanted to take my dogs to a new place so drove here from Peoria. Very impressed. Lots of parking, the lake was really nice. There is playground and ball diamond. Local duck/geese type animals hang around. Lots of their poo around the lake.

Attractive park with playground equipment and ball diamond for the young at heart. That said, the picnic shelter alongside the peaceful little lake were more my speed.

This is a nice little park with an unfortunate proximity to Interstate 74. It has a large baseball diamond, which I assume is used primarily by the local school district. There is a nice playground and two picnic shelters next to a significant pond. In late summer, it is surrounded by corn fields. The real downside, though, is the noise pollution from the Interstate. It’s ever-present and significant, making it difficult to hold a conversation.
