I love the new park. It’s awesome. Great place for kids or parties, but disappointed that they took the old park away. It could have used a little paint, but it still would have been a good park to keep.

Great place to stop for kids to get some energy out! We stopped on the way from Michigan to Chicago, just 6 mins off the highway, the park is brand new and pretty cool! Lots of grassy area, picnic tables under shade and bathrooms!

This is a nice little park, but it’s nothing fancy. The play structures suffice but are old and not very colorful. There is a metal swinging bench that overlooks the two playgrounds and the two swingsets. The grass under the swingsets is very overgrown and not maintained. There are four basketball hoops right next to three small grills and a built-in corn hole. There is a fenced off green area serving as a dog park as well.

Within a 3 wks time frame Ive brought my service animal to come play and have been met with aggressive ignorant owners who stereotype dogs and have the audacity to say negative things out loud….I went off on a few this very morning 4/30/2025. Do some research on animals before you blatantly be disrespectful to a dog/owner you don’t even know….

Fun little playground. They have two baby swings that are attached to a regular swing so you don’t have to stand to push you baby/toddler. They have a merry-go-round that is ground level making it safer. (Maybe.) They also have a teeter totter that was big enough I was able to play on it with the kids. Lots of climbing things. There is a good amount of picnic tables, a few are under a sun shade. No trees for shade it’s in a big field. There was also a basketball hoop. There were bathrooms, but I didn’t check to see if they were unlocked or not. The 11 and 14yo enjoyed it.
