Brand new trails opened, up the hill E and around a large pasture. Only things lacking on the new trail so far are pet waste bag dispensers and garbage cans. I carry my own bags for the dog doo but picked up some garbage already left along the trail. Fantastic amenity built by the retirement community!
Otherwise this park already has the other amenities; ball fields, rest rooms, playground, and picnic areas, and is dog friendly.

I visited the park for a cycling event organized by Shenandoah Bicycling Association. We enjoyed several shelters which served as a rest stop and for lunch break. I didn’t venture into other areas of the park but I observed a nice playground and several basketball and tennis courts nearby. Seems like a great place for families and athletic activities for the local community to enjoy.

Nice little park. There are walkways for hiking, or just walking or riding your bike. Interesting playground, and several sports fields, including basketball and baseball – looks like little league. Also a track for running or walking. And a pretty little lake.
