Davis Community Park
Davis Community Park is a quiet and clean natural park perfect for families and dog lovers. It offers amenities like picnic tables, restrooms, playgrounds, swings, and accessible entrances and parking. Visitors enjoy trails, a kayak launch on the Cass River, and opportunities to view wildlife. While there is no grill, the park is kid-friendly and ideal for outdoor activities and relaxing in nature.

Nice park to visit. Some newer play sets for children to use. There are some trails to walk around, and take in the river, and a short rail trail right next to it.
Not a bad little park. It is surrounded by nature, fairly quiet, and most of the things you expect are available – bathrooms, electricity, etc.
However, the lack of a grill(s) means you’ll either have to pre-cook your food, or bring something to cook it with yourself.
Also, when we arrived, the bathrooms were already unlocked and there were a few questionable things in the trash.
If you’re doing a children’s party, there is also a small set of swings and the like.
Again, not a bad park, just bring plenty of mosquito spray (you’ll need it) and something to cook/heat your food with.
A great park. Drop in to kayak here, playground areas, pavilions. Very clean as well
From Davis park to M 13 it was a beautiful kayak ride down the Cass River. Even with the current drought there wasn’t even one spot where we dragged bottom. No blockage from down trees either. Saw one bald eagle twice or two bald eagles once 😁. Plenty of turtles on logs and one muskrat. No ducks on this section.
It’s a cute park but sorry little on the odd side too you actually have to leave the main park turn sharply right follow the blacktop drive way to get to the two pavilions and restrooms. There is a kayak 🛶 launch but the river is very shallow. Must rain there so there are mud brushes for your shoes and or boots. Hungry Howie 🍕 😋🤤 is literally in walking distance from the main entrance.
