Large well kept beach with nice playground. Clean restrooms. Campground onsite with view of the lake and a wooded picnic area with plenty of tables. Large boat ramp, easy to launch even in relatively low water.

Went to Oneida Shores County Park for a family get together. I really enjoyed it. The pavilion we rented was near the water, I was able to get on the shore line. It was beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to explore the campgrounds but the section of park we gathered at was beautiful.

The park staff is helpful and friendly. The park is well maintained. The playground is great for kids. The showers and washrooms facilities are pretty standard for county parks.
The sites are smaller, good for a trailer 20′ or less, they have laid new pavement at the sites.
The best part of this place is also the biggest drag. The beach.
It’s a fantastic beach, great for kids of all ages but they have roped it off like a pool and the life guards spit out ridiculous rules all day. They were telling kids things like “no splashing, no running into the water, no doing flips, etc.” No fun. You can’t even go into the lake, without the life guards there 🤯. The whole day we just listened to rules that pretty much said come sit in The water. It was pretty disappointing to have a beautiful beach with a bunch of ridiculousness

Camped with a 32 foot camper. Was difficult backing in for myself and many other people that came in for a full weekend. The campground is very tight, a WARNING to all that come in late or with longer equipment that this campground is very tight despite what they say online, and so tight that vehicles besides campers have to be parked sideways in order to fit at the campsites or in a nearby parking lot. There is no parking on grass allowed. They just paved all the camping loops, including the site pads, which is very nice, And they are still working on the project and will be adding fill soon. The woman that greeted us upon arrival was very friendly, helpful, and had our packet with information right away, including a code to the bathroom that is very close, not like previous reviews they claimed staff was rude, unhelpful, and the bathrooms were very far away. It seems they are making positive changes to the campground etc. dogs are allowed, however must be on a leash at all times they do not allow dogs on a tie-out! The boat launch is one of the best I’ve seen with numerous launch sites. The beach was closed despite it being June and warm out not sure what was going on there.. Overall, four out of five stars, Very nice park.

I use the boat launch way more then beach area. The launches are easy to access.

There are multiple spots to launch from. Wide double spots. Not the deepest lake so take that into consideration. Average depth is 4-6ft around the dock area… average

Memorial day to labor day costs NULL to get in. Normal Onondaga county park fee… multi species of fish in lake.

Restrooms next to launch as well as in park. Beach is average. Swimming area pretty shallow.

Blue green alge pops up here and there…. Check the report before swimming, pretty simple.
