Great park! Out of the way, down a side street. No bleachers, so bring your own seat! Mostly used for soccer, softball, field hockey. Small trail on perimeter of fields.

I walk my dog, here. Not busy at all. We love it. The walk is an oval; 1/3 mile walk each lap around. Easy access from South Main Street in Brewer.

I was surprised and pleased to see the garden area.
Some dog owners failed to clean up after their dog, despite signs, cans and bags.
Beware of broken equipment.

Maple Street Park in Brewer, Maine, is home to a paved walking path around the perimeter that’s a call to residents and their leashed pets to enjoy. Benches dot the park for those that would rather sit than stand, walk, stroll, pace, jog, run, sprint, dash, or in some other manner take advantage of the paved path.

When not being used for a baseball game, the flat greenspace is ample for flag football, Frisbee, pick-up soccer, or what-have-you.

My purpose for being there was Junior Little League baseball, called by some in other parts of the country, I believe, Babe Ruth League. Players in the 6th to 8th grade range, approximately. The only knock on this field as a baseball park is the lack of outfield fence. If it had that, I could give it 5 stars. without the fence, Maple Street Baseball Field suffers in quality by one star.
