Love this park. Always love to bring my kids there! I know it’s safe and we’ve never found drug paraphernalia on the ground like all the other local parks. There’s a section for little kids and one for big kids. Only down side is there’s swarms of bugs around the wet wood chips but that’s just a Maine problem , not only that park though

Fun, clean and safe park with a large field separating two playground areas.

Just took my 3yr old son here for the first time. We loved it! There’s tons of space for kids to run around. There’s lots a shaded spots with pumice tables for parents to sit and watch their littles. There’s even some nice spots to sit along the river! There’s two play sets. One for babies and toddlers, and then the nice big, newer set up on the hill. Great spot, and place!

The preschool section is small, old and in need of care. Serious rust on the boat slide…the screws attaching the slide are loose and removable without tools. The wood chips need refreshing. The older section is very new, big and fun. Parking was plentiful.

The park is great. It’s a nice area next to the river with an older kids playground on top of the hill and a younger kids playground at the bottom. The best part of this playground is that it has shade. On a hot summer day this is the playground I always bring my children just because it has shade and usually a nice breeze off the river.
