If you’re looking for a family-friendly park in Breckenridge, Michigan, Breckenridge Splash Park at 105 Sexton St is a fantastic destination for both children and adults. This well-maintained park features a popular splash pad area that offers cool water fun, perfect for warm days, and is surrounded by ample seating for families. The park is praised for its cleanliness and easy accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking.
While the park isn’t a traditional dog park and doesn’t offer fenced or off-leash areas for pets, it is a great spot for family outings with pet-friendly walking areas nearby. The playgrounds are thoughtfully designed for different age groups, there are basketball and horseshoe courts, and multiple picnic pavilions are available for gatherings. Breckenridge Splash Park is also known for its welcoming, peaceful atmosphere, making it a top pick for relaxing afternoons in Mid-Michigan.
A nice little splash pad with lots of seating around for families. Plenty of parking. The water was surprisingly warm. It wasn’t too big, but it did the trick
First of all I understand that a splash park is typically for younger children but we decided to check this one out because the Lake of Dreams was a campground. My son is 9, he still had fun but we were unsure of how to make all the sprinklers come on. The playground is structured for 5 year olds, there is a basketball court, a small pavillion with picnic tables and 2 bathrooms that look a little scary. Overall the park was clean and peaceful and I would go again IF we were bored.
This is a cute little park that definitely has had improvements! The splash area is an awesome addition. My children enjoyed splashing and running around in it. The flower shower is so cute. If it’s too cold or your little ones just aren’t in the splashing mood, they can go play in one of the two playgrounds provided. One is geared towards older children and the other for younger ones. There’s also a half court to play basket ball and two pavilions to have a picnic or party in. I’m really impressed with the horseshoe pit and Corn hole area (also called bean bag toss). Definitely a good spot for family entertainment!
Very clean park. Splash part is clean and cool. Very few bugs they must spray for them.
Press the yellow “button” on top the blue pole to get the water to start! Once we figured it out my kids had so much fun. A great little park!!
