Baldwin Roadside Park MDOT

Baldwin Roadside Park MDOT is a simple and relaxing rest stop along US-10, ideal for road trips, especially with dogs. It features picnic tables and grills for quick picnics, an outhouse-style restroom, and a natural setting with younger trees providing sunshine and shade. The restroom facilities are basic and at times not well maintained, but the park offers a quiet spot to unwind and enjoy nature, including opportunities to observe local wildlife.

Bathrooms need attending. Smelt terrible. Otherwise it’s a nice spot to relax
Simple relaxing rest stop. Younger trees than much of the nearby forest so there is good sunshine and an open feeling. To the concerns about the restrooms the town of Baldwin is less than 10 minutes east and small towns just west of the park.
Just stopped off for a quick restroom break but very cool, my little five year old son found not one but two walking stick bugs male and female we watched them for a little while and put them back in the tree awesome to see.
Someone was cleaning the bathroom when we arrived but offered to move if we needed to use it. Pretty clean and a very easy and relaxing stop
Great stop for a road trip butreak. Especially, with a puppy! Restroom has Always been a lil “rough” it’s an outhouse. But, you can fire up a grill and chill if you want too. I believe there are 6 grills out there, picnic tables. If you’ve got charcoal and dogs, you can make a quick picnic without getting “off” US 10.
