Gorgeous beaches with happy wildlife (recently saw whales and dolphins)! Great for swimming and surfing in the summer and fall and also there are several good restaurants for dining out. Please keep our oceans clean!
Glorious beach which is even nice on a sunny day in February.
This beach has a nice boardwalk with gazebos. Lots of benches and just very clean. There are sand dunes that block the view of the ocean in most areas but where there is an opening, it’s a beautiful ocean view.
My favorite beach! I love this beach! Not usually crowded however as each year goes by and more people discover this beach it gets packed more and more. It sits between Ocean Grove and Avon by the Sea. There is a couple of places to eat on the boardwalk and Ocean Grove isn’t too far where you will find a main street filled with little cafés and shops. We walk up the beach to Ocean Grove on the way there , but since we have passes to Bradley, we have to walk the boardwalk back.
This is a really nice, clean beach. I normally go to Point Pleasant, Sea Girt, or Avon by the Sea, but I wanted to try different places this summer, starting with Bradley Beach. Not only is the beach beautiful but the surrounding areas are as well and there are really great places to eat on Main Street.
Since I am an out of towner from Brooklyn, New York, I don’t really complain about the cost to get on the beach, which is NULL for the day. I look to be comfortable and not have to worry about cutting my bare feet with broken glass in the sand….like I would in Coney Island. I do agree with reviewers that NJ residents shouldn’t have to pay if they live in the state.
I suggest getting down here as early as possible (before 9am) if you want to find decent street parking and to get a good spot on the beach. I opted to stay near LaReine Avenue even though you have to walk further down the boardwalk to get a badge. The restroom on LaReine is kept clean as well.
Depending on how the weather goes this summer, I look forward to coming back down here in the future.
