Creekwood Park is a top-rated dog park in Bradenton, Florida, offering spacious fenced-in areas for both large and small dogs. The park features approximately two acres for large breeds and about one acre for small dogs under 20 lbs, ensuring plenty of room for your pup to run, play, and socialize in a safe environment. One unique aspect of this Bradenton dog park is its dog-friendly agility course, giving active pups a fun way to exercise and learn new skills. It’s well-shaded, with mature trees and covered pavilions making it comfortable even on warm Florida days.
Amenities at Creekwood Park include numerous water stations with bowls, kiddie pools for cooling off, benches and picnic tables for owners, and separate double-gated entrances for small and large dogs. The park is known for its cleanliness, regular maintenance, and friendly atmosphere — both among pet owners and their dogs. Convenient parking is available near the community pool, and wheelchair-accessible paved walkways lead you right to the park entrances. It’s a welcoming place for new visitors as well as regulars, ensuring a great outing for every dog lover in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.
Nicely kept dog park. Plenty of running Water and buckets for drinking, and kiddie pools for dogs to cool off. There’s a separate dog park for large dogs and small dogs. There’s a shelter for shade with picnic tables to sit at and benches at the far end of the park. One of the nicer parks I’ve come across so far.
Love this park and so does my Golden Doodle. I have never had a bad experience here with dog interactions. The people are also very nice and interesting from all over the US. Wish I had a park like this close to me in MI. See you next fall for more dog fun!
I was visiting Bradenton for a few weeks and found this dog park a mile from my parents. It was great. We only got to visit a handful or times but there was always a great group of dogs and owners, with the dogs of various sizes on the large dog side. I look forward to bringing my pup here again in the future as he made a lot of pals and was able to run around in such a large area. There was a pavilion inside the fenced area with 3 picnic tables and a hose where you could fill up water bowls, as well as various benches throughout the fenced in area.
Dogs are great here. 1 small dog and one big dog park. Can only speak to the big dog side. The owners are respectful and friendly. In the middle of the park is a covered concrete patio with 3 picnic tables. They have 2 baby pools, lots of water buckets, and plenty of room to run, sniff, chase, and bark. The dogs are bigger than other big dog sides of the park with my English Mastiff, a couple of St. Bernard’s, a wolfhound, a couple of Great Danes, just to name a few. All friendly.
Amazingly large dog park! About two acres fenced-in available for large dogs and about one acre for smaller ones. Plenty of shade and water available as well as a dog obstacle course. It was a very hot day but the ample buckets of water meant the dogs could run around for an hour.
