While it has a pea gravel surface and is near busy streets requiring caution, it remains a popular and well-maintained spot for dog owners to socialize and exercise their pets.
Reviews
TL;DR
Pros: Fully fenced in, offers drinking fountain
Cons: Very small, surrounded by busy streets
This is a very small, yet fully fenced in (chain link) area surfaced with pea gravel. There is a doggy water fountain that is easy to use.
The entrance also has an enclosed leashing/unleashing area.
The surrounding streets are often busy, you must be very careful when crossing the street with your puppy.
Two separate fenced enclosures, water bowls, poop bags, and trash cans. Reasonably large space for dogs to run around in. It’s never too busy.
Nearly always encounter great, dog savvy owners, everyone pitches in to clean up forgotten poop, has an excellent double gated system, a separate area for more anxious dogs or dogs learning how to socialize, trees shade half of the park on hot days.
Accessible dog park in Boston, where there is a major lack of spaces that are dog friendly. The location is gorgeous and the other dogs and owners were lovely. The only issue is that the space is quite small. Boston, make dog parks more accessible and widely available!
Nice park! Separate area for small dogs.
Nice shade from the surrounding trees.
People were kinda standoffish, but the dogs had a good time. Water, trash, and bags. Peastone ground cover.
