K9 & Me dog park offers a peaceful spot for dog owners in Bonner Springs, Kansas, to let their pets enjoy some outdoor freedom. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, the park features a fully fenced area where dogs can safely play off-leash. This Bonner Springs dog park is wheelchair accessible and includes picnic tables and benches, providing comfort and convenience for visitors. With plenty of shady spots and a fresh water spigot for thirsty pups, K9 & Me is perfect for keeping pets comfortable during warm Kansas days.
While not fancy, the park offers the essentials—a secure fence, accessible water bowls, and lots of space for your dog to run and sniff around. A few benches and picnic tables are available in shaded areas, making it a relaxing place for pet parents. Visitors have noted that the parking area is limited (about 10 spaces), so plan accordingly. The park is also known for being quiet and not too busy, making it a favorite for locals who prefer a more laid-back experience.
not a busy dog park and great open area for the dogs to sniff around. there are a couple benches and a fresh water spigot. nothing fancy here but it has good shade
Kennel cough!!!! Park was ok to let doggo run not to busy. I only go when others aren’t there. Against my better judgement I let my husband take my dog there due to us living with my parents after moving out of state without a fenced in backyard. It has water bowl that is accessible (wish this was made so your dog couldn’t get to it if you don’t want them to) and couldn’t keep him out of it. Today I had to take my dog to the vet for kennel cough. He isn’t around other dogs so pretty sure this is where he picked it up from the water bowl.
It’s a good park to let the dogs run but that’s all. There’s nothing for them to do so be sure and bring some toys. Theres a few spots in the fence that would be easy for small dogs to push through. Wish it was seperated for a big and small dog area. Also, people don’t like to pick up after their animals…
We took our tog there today. She had fun running around. It is true that the other patrons don’t clean up after their puppies. They do have fresh water there for the pouches though.
It’s a good place to let the dogs of leash because it is fenced in. There are a couple of benches in the shade to sit and one picnic table. I did love the waste sticker and bird bath water bowl for the dogs. It’s tucked right in a neighborhood, so it is pretty quiet. The parking area is limited, maybe 10 spaces. A Porta potty right off the parking lot would be nice for visitors to the park, but neighbors probably would not appreciate it. Overall, it’s a decent little dog park.
