This was one of those accidental finds we wish we had actually planned for! The day we visited, they were hosting a no-motor regatta, with people dressed in period costumes—it was such a unique and fun surprise. I’m convinced there’s so much more to see and do here than we had time for. Don’t make the mistake we did—plan ahead and give this place the time it deserves!
Nice area to stop at while I’m Bolton Landing. Soft sand beach, nice areas to stop and sit, look out over the water. They have a nice little museum that celebrates the town through the years, this time the museum was setup for the towns vacation history. It was interesting and charming to see.
Very nice, clean beach n Lake George. Small parking area keeps it not super crowded. Lots of kids and families. Some boats coming and going. Lifeguards. Sandy. But the water was still clear. Fun jumping off the pier. No flips.
Decided to try seeing fireworks here, instead of Lake George Village, which has been extremely overcrowded. We were very happy that we made this change. There were people, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The view of the lake from where we sat was amazing!
Fabulous park that has grown over the years to be a spectacular community asset. We had a local day. Early June before the visitors come to enjoy our beautiful area, we took a day to take it in. Walking trails, tennis courts, docks, picnic areas and walk to everything Bolton. Let’s go summer! Welcome back friends!
