Morris Hill Dog Park is a popular destination for local dog owners seeking a safe and friendly space for their pets to play off-leash. Conveniently located at 10 N Roosevelt St in Boise, this fenced-in park offers a well-maintained woodchip ground cover that keeps pets cleaner than grass parks. Dog lovers appreciate the selection of agility equipment, benches, and a covered picnic area, making it a great spot for both dogs and their people to relax and socialize.
Unique to this Boise dog park are the separate play areas for small and large dogs, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for all breeds and sizes. Pet parents routinely bring water and refill communal bowls, and handy waste stations make it easy to keep the area tidy. Adjacent to a playground with kid-friendly rubber ground and restroom facilities, Morris Hill Dog Park makes for an all-ages outing and is noted for its helpful community atmosphere and abundance of tennis balls and play options for pups.
Was my dog’s first time at a dog park but he loved it!
One of the few parks that has benches pretty much clean like all the parks you have to watch your dog around other dogs. It seems like a lot of people won’t control their dogs. Be careful out there.
Happy to have found this park. We live an hour outside town and had many errands to run. Our dogs were getting car cramped. So, we stopped to let them run. Loved the fenced area.
We didn’t expect to stop at a dog park, so we didn’t have any balls. Glad there were a few old balls laying around.
Dogs had a great time.
We love this park! There was woodchips instead of grass. It seemed odd but my pup didn’t leave with grass stains like normal. It didn’t seem to bother my dog at all. They had lots of agility equipment. Hoops, diffrent levels of polls to jump. They had a Teeter totter in the small dog area. The people were nice and cleaned up after their dog 🐕 the playground across from the park was nice. The ground was rubber so kiddos don’t get hurt when they fall plus there is a toilet with working water. Several benches and a covered picnic area.
Nice sized area for the dogs to run and play, someone has provided water bowls and buckets, many people seem to arrive with a gallon of water to keep the bowls filled. There is a separate area for small dogs to play. There are some different things to climb and play on, tons of tennis balls and sticks, a couple of picnic tables and a handful of benches. There are a few garbage cans just outside the gate for pet waste disposal. There’s a small, neighborhood park just next door, as well as a cemetery. Parking is somewhat limited in the parks lot, but there’s additional parking on the street. Not a bad little dog park, just basic.
