FAQ for Boardman Dog Park in Boardman Oregon:
Grass is dead. No park obstacles as advertised and most importantly, no fencing. It’s definitely not a dog park any longer apparently.
We were here a year ago and this was one of the best dog parks we had ever been to. Fast forward to today and it’s a dying wasteland. Brown grass, dead trees, dog poop everywhere. It’s a shame it was allowed to get to this point.
Convenient and clean. A decent sized, fun (agility equipment) park for the dogs to get their zoomies out on our road trip. We had the whole place to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon. The greenest grass I ever seen at a dog park. Two sections and bags are provided.
Nice big dog park! Plenty of room for big and small dogs to roam. However the entrance area has several deep holes with water in it. They should probably turn this into a gravel area so it’s not as messy. Also, there is a hole in the fence on the gravel parking lot size. Not a problem likely in the big dog enclosure but it should still probably be repaired.Overall this is a really good park and will be even better when the trees mature to provide some shade.
This one of the nicest dog parks I’ve ever visited. It has separate areas for large and small dogs, an “airlock” gate to prevent escapes, and the grass is shockingly green and well-manicured. The agility course structures were a big bonus and they were what we spotted from the highway before we decided in an impromptu visit. There were doggie bags on hand and 2 trash cans.
