I have had experiences with friends and family camping at this park. We like using our kayaks in the lake. Very kid friendly and safe swimming area:)**
This Park is so beautiful, if you like being out in the wilderness like I do. And there’s an awesome creek to follow while walking you could wade in, in Summer. And they have the cutest log cabins to stay in too… definitely a must go back when the trees are fully in bloom!!! A 10+ for me!!!
What a cute spot. However just know that a lot of the campsites hold water. At the end near the spillway and the cabin they have built a really nice flush toilet building with 6 seperate restrooms. This is such a nice addition.
Pretty small for a state park but the ground are clean, the spillway is really cool and the fire tower is rare for Ohio. The tower is locked at the top but it’s worth going up.
Nice park with a pretty hike! The lady running the camp store was great! Very helpful and very funny! Make sure you go in and grab a tshirt and a large jug of water!
