Beautiful quiet park.

Campsites spaced out

Small beach but nice.

Non motorized lake.

Very clean showers & bathrooms & hot water in the bathrooms! Also adjustable temperature in the showers which is awesome. Some other campgrounds have had water too hot or cold $ you can’t adjust

The staff are very nice & they clean the facility! They deserve. Dec praise & a raise ! 🙌. One of the most beautiful & peace full campgrounds in the adk

You can often have the beach to yourself !! And there are less screaming kids than other campgrounds always a plus

Kids: if you are not being murdered by a psycho do not scream like you are. Don’t cry wolf.

Parents: train your kids & your dog kids 🥰

We decided to take our 2.5 month old baby RV camping for the first time. I’ve always driven by this campground and on a whim decided to give it a try, I am glad we did! The staff at Lake Durant Campground was very accommodating and friendly, they went out of their way to make us comfortable. The campsite is very well maintained and kept up. Thank you for a great experience we will remember forever!

Great campground with a top notch staff and great facilities. My wife and I just spent 7 days here and we can’t wait to return. The campground is small, clean and quiet. The lake is beautiful. There are 2 trail heads located in the campground that offer more trails as you go. Neither was very difficult and the end result was worth the hike.
The shower facilities were brand new and always clean as were the bathrooms throughout the entire campground. The garbage and recycling facility is quite serious and is better than my town offers.

Our favorite Adirondack campground. Waterfront sites, beautiful new shower facility in 2017. Nice little beach, access to hiking. Quiet is great. Water available on the access road. No electric at sites which cuts down on the big rigs. We come here for a week every summer for the last 5 years and intend to keep it up. Relatively close to inlet and old forge.
