Interesting, lots of history. Nice trails. Need to be watchful when driving to parking area. Turn is not very visible from road and comes up quick.

Very good easy hiking with not too much elevation. We did a 6 mile round trip.
It is also an active mountain bike trail. We had to duck out off the trail several times. We saw several groups of wild donkeys while out. From parking lot you follow a vague trail NW until you hit the main route. Lots of cool old discarded stuff as you start out, rusted sinks, a bike and even a full on old Chevy a mile or so into the hike.
