The baseball fields are getting better. Park playground is small, but the little kids still like it.

Needs a lot of work on the fields and batting cages. Parking is limited because it fills up fast. The city really owes it to these kids to improve the ballfields. There are no lights either. Compared to other facilities in the Blount County area, this park is rather pitiful. I hope the city has plans to improve it. The walking track is ok. I don’t know about the pool because it has been closed due to covid-19.

Need more playground equipment for kids to play on. It’s a park, but all that’s there is ball fields, picnic tables and a new walking track. There are a few swings and 2 slides for children.

Kids had a great time at the pool. Big plus is that you can put a cooler or take a portable grill and leave it on the covered picnic tables right out side of the pool and use the side gate to go eat.
