I hiked this trail with my son on the Labor Day. Weather was nice, no bugs, no mud, the trail was a little rocky but we had sturdy boots so no issue. We easily crossed a couple of streams and then, toward the end, we took a wrong turn so to recover we did a little climb outside the trail and we had so much fun! A very pleasant way to spend the day together! Parking is limited but there were a couple of open spote when we arrived (around 10:30).
Clean and nice trail. For the most part well marked. Some sections the trail markers were worn or gone. No rest rooms. Small parking area, but easy.
Beautiful but the trails get confused after the yellow trail if you are not careful and try to look for the white trail. Be careful not to fall in the water when you are crossing because it ca be slippery.
Nice shorter hike. I would recommend to come here when it hasn’t rained. The water crossings were a bit tricky with no dry path across the rocks.
Beautiful place to hike and and experience nature. Some parts are uphill and downhills but not an overly challenging hike. The ricer is a nice place to sit at. Open dawn till dusk.
