🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions

Located on Catherine St in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, the Bloomsburg Dog Park offers a welcoming spot for pups and their owners to socialize and exercise. This dog park is fully fenced, ensuring safety while allowing dogs to play off-leash and make new furry friends. Visitors appreciate the park’s clean environment, accessibility—including wheelchair-accessible parking—and the dog-friendly amenities perfect for quick visits or extended play sessions.
The park features water fountains designed for dogs of different heights, a secure fenced area, and a couple of agility obstacles for active dogs. While there are poop bag stations and seating spots for owners, visitors should occasionally check park conditions as maintenance can vary. Bloomsburg Dog Park is a popular spot, especially for dog owners seeking a safe, pet-friendly recreation area in Bloomsburg with a sense of community.
Just a heads up– Please do not bring your dog to the dog park in bloom. Its really not safe at least right now. The park is filthy and there is a puddle filled with dirty, contaminated water that’s just sitting there.
I, unfortunately took my 5 months old puppy there recently and she got sick right after we came back home. She had an upset stomach, soft stool and loss of appetite for 3 days now. I did her fecal test and guess what its Coccidia positive and now she is under medication.
I believe its because her immune system is still developing and she likely picked something up from the park. So if you have a puppy or an older dog please avoid this park until it’s properly cleaned or maintained. Your pup’s health just isn’t worth the risk.
Thank you 😀 😊 🙏

very cute and clean dog park, has water fountains for doggies of different heights and a safe fenced in design so they can play free!
A nicely fenced in area with a couple agility obstacles and a doggy library with extra little things you might have forgotten – like doody bags.
Seems to be a hoppin’ place, lots of good furriends to meet and play with ❤️🐶
This was our first time visiting. It was clean, and our puggy really enjoyed herself! I highly recommend checking it out with your four-legged friend.
