A nice little quaint spot that I can safely take my children to just on the edge of town but yet almost seems like your way out in the middle of nowhere with expansions and the remodeling they have done I have watch this part go from basically a field when I was a child into a toddler’s Mega playground complete with instruments Mountain straight to the ground
This will be a five star trail but not yet. No parking at the trailhead in ellettesville. Areas where the trail is just a sidewalk next to a road are not ideal. Crossing hwy48 (West 3rd) isn’t marked well or set up well. Parks and rec have done a great job so far and I’m sure they will continue to improve this trail. Great for walking your dog, running etc.
Great trails to walk, very clean
What a great place to spend the day, plenty of things to do. From pet to adult to kids.
Well manicured, wide paved trail. Enough room for walkers with dogs, runners, and bikes. The park area is a nice place to rest, potty and the fountain has a water bowl for the pups. The bird watching was fun too.
