Great place to play with our toddler. Little bit of trash on ground from July 4th the day before. Not much.
I’m new to the area and tried this course for the first time today. Overall it was a fun 9 hole course that I will definitely come back to.
Pros: 2 tees and 2 baskets give each hole different looks. Some elevation changes and just the right amount of trees make it challenging enough yet suitable for beginners. There is lots of shade on the course and it is easy to walk.
Cons: The layout left us scratching our heads. It is not easy to navigate a few holes as they backtrack quite a bit resulting in a confusing flow. The park was in desperate need of mowing the day I played, not sure if this was just a bad day or the norm. This is a multiple use park so use caution on a couple holes near kids playing on a playground and adults grilling out.
Overall I give 4 stars out of 5.
Nice park, close to Miller Park. Has little kid play area, and covered area with benches. Make sure to leave by dark, because different types of people than those with little kids like to visit there. Lots of mature, pretty trees. Oaks and Maples, mostly. Nice place.
This is a great park. We stopped as we drove through so our kids could take a break from our road trip. There are plumbed bathrooms (though the door wasn’t working) and there is a disc golf course so bring something to toss. We also saw a beaver here too..cute!
