Much improved! Good place for my dog to run around! Looks safe and secured. Has a good shaded area for humans! The entrance is a bit muddy after a long rain, but nothing I can’t handle! Good job on the renovations!

New black chainlink fence went up recently, so dogs nicely enclosed. Lots of room to run around, water hose (seasonal?), and a good shade canopy for the human friends. Just note that there is no separate area for small dogs. The adjoining river walk is a great place for a short walk as well.

River Walk Dog Park is a good area for dogs to run around and meet friends. There are a couple of benches and some chairs for their humans. Sometimes there are toys others have left. A water bowl can be filled at a spigot. Part if the area is sunny and part is shaded by large trees.

It can be muddy, especially at the entrance. A good load of gravel or a little concrete pad would fix the problem.

Nice little park behind an old grocery store within Riverwalk Park. It’s on the opposite side of the train tracks from downtown Black Mountain. There are some chairs, a little doggie pool, and water bowls. There is a river just past the fence. It’s a nice place to let the dogs run free for a little bit!

My baby, Pixie, and I loved it. We stayed about an hour and only saw 2 other people. It’s right behind Starbucks. There is a cool eagle nest sculpture with huge green eggs in it. You can walk down to the beach by the river. There’s a fenced in area where your furbaby can get off the leash.
