Century Recreation Area Bark Park is a popular dog park in Bismarck, North Dakota, designed with dogs and their owners in mind. Featuring four spacious, fenced sections for different types and sizes of dogs, this park offers ample space for your furry friend to run, play, and socialize. With convenient amenities like picnic tables and plenty of parking, it’s an accessible and enjoyable spot for both locals and visitors looking for pet-friendly activities in Bismarck.
This dog park stands out for its thoughtful design—each section is connected by a central area that makes entering and exiting safe and easy for everyone. The park is wheelchair accessible, ensuring all dog owners can enjoy the space. Kids are welcome, and the friendly community atmosphere makes this park an excellent place for families and pets alike. Do note that the park can get muddy after rain due to some puddle-prone areas, but the wide-open spaces and generally responsible community help keep it an inviting location year-round.
My dog, Sunny Bea and I love this dog park. There are a lot of different sections for different types of dogs. She loves to run and fetch and I go around and pick up poop and tennis balls for other dogs to enjoy and to keep the park clean for everyone! Thank you for keeping everything fun
The girls enjoyed their time at the Century Area Bark Park. This well designed four section park is linked by a common area used for entering and existing the park. There was also plenty of parking to handle the steady flow of visitors. We stayed long enough to eat lunch and then we went on our merry way.
Absolutely an embarrassment to this community.. there is no grass left, it’s mud and pooling water everywhere.. there is no double gates to allow for people to unleash their pets and stop dogs from running out into another area.. tons of unfinished projects and lack of compency in our park districts to figure it out.. sad!
Nice park that has large spaces fenced off for different dog sizes. The dog waste is mostly under control in comparison to some parks where dog poo is not required to be picked up.
We enjoy this park. I love the separation of the 3 parks. People here are always friendly. It would also be nice if there was some enforcement of the poop pick up, and if they could fill up the two area where water puddles, that can mean a lot of mud sometimes. We always have a great time at this park, and we really enjoy the wide open space.
