High Sierra Park is one of the most popular dog parks in Billings, MT, offering a spacious and scenic off-leash area where dogs can run, climb, and play. The park features large, fully fenced enclosures—including separate spaces for small and large dogs—set amidst beautiful natural terrain with grassy fields, hills, and unique sandstone rocks perfect for adventurous pups. Local dog owners and visitors alike appreciate the friendly community, the park’s cleanliness, and its variety of amenities.
This dog park stands out for its accessibility with wheelchair-friendly entrances and parking, multiple water fountains for both people and pets, and an abundance of waste stations. Families with children will also find the park welcoming, thanks to picnic tables, restroom facilities, and kid-friendly climbing rocks. Whether you’re a Billings resident seeking pet-friendly trails or a road tripper looking for an energetic stop, High Sierra Park is a must-visit destination for dogs and their owners.
Amazing, huge dog park with natural habitat, trees, rocks to climb, fully fenced. Water fountains & restrooms. Great place for families and their fur babies. Absolutely love this place and so do my dogs!
Two gated dog parks (one for 30# and under, one for all size dogs) offers a huge area with lots of hills and cool sandstone rocks the dogs love to climb on and play tag around. Plenty of doodoo bags to be found around the park, though not all dog owners use them 🙄. What a great park for our great dogs!!
For the most part the people that come here are friendly, and have amazing fur baby companions. The bathroom, as well as the park and it’s surrounding area is always clean. Definitely enjoy bringing my fur babies here.
Literally the coolest dog park I’ve ever been too. I wish we lived closer to go all the time but we stopped here on a 44 hr road trip. It was perfect. There’s water for the dogs, grass, rocks for them to climb on and it’s HUGE!
We have a German Short-Haired Pointer who has A LOT of energy. High Sierra Park is the perfect place to let her run. My five-year-old and I enjoy walking around the path, and he loves climbing on the rocks.
