Beware: I have tried this dog park over 20 times. I wanted to keep giving it a try because it’s great for running my pup and it’s near my home. However I had to give it up. Literally, every single time we went, there was a dog or two that were aggressive/dominating. I truly don’t understand these people that bring these dogs, they’re incredibly selfish, angers me to all get out. And I noticed some were regulars. I called animal control and they did absolutely nothing about it. They need to wait until something happens; reactive not preventative. I was warned by co-workers about this place since I’m new, and I chose not to listen, well now I know for myself.
Small and large dog areas. Water was available and so were plastic bags. Grass was spotty in areas.
One of my dog & I’s favorite Billings dog parks. Lots of space to run with her tongue hanging out & her tail just wagging away. Some cool features. Benches here & there. 2 covered areas with benches also. Big dog area & separate fenced small dog area, plus another fenced area for training, or new introductions for pups or newbies to start in. Big & small areas have dog water fountains…. which are not turned on Oct. – May to prevent freezing, I believe. So bring a jug & dish in those months. Trail throughout is wood chips. Improvements are nice with new trees planted. Could use a few more benches, in all three pens… Would be great if traing obstacle course was set up in there…. also if the deep low area at West end of Big pen was turned into water feature (Like Bozemans 13 acre dog park)…. rubber speed bump at back double gate on Northside of Big pen, I think would be great also, too much space under that gate makes my dog want to dig out under it. Otherwise…. already a very beautiful, lovely, gated dog park. Other features outside dog park, are baseball fields, large grassy areas, & also nice parking lot off 32nd St. W. ✌️😍👌
Great location to allow your pups to run and play with others! Pick up behind your pets please…
Winter time is just fun…bring your water with you! No pups in “heat” please.
Nice dog park – walking path, grass and bark and 3 different fenced areas! Pretty clean as far as poop pick up too. One water source which was kind of slow but better than nothing. Several benches under cover for shade. Great stop on our road trip!
