If I could give 100 stars I would. Our girl, Lucy, stayed with Brian at Happy Hound K9 Social Club for 11 days after we were referred by my sister in law, who sends her golden for doggy day care. Our girl is 9 months old, and has severe separation anxiety. She was a rescue pup and spent a month with her first family, only to be returned to LHS. She was alone, in a cage at the scary humane society, after being in a home, and then got spayed. We think that time traumatized her deeply. She CAN NOT handle being in a crate, as she gets so stressed that she tries to eat the metal bars and wet herself from stress (we found this out from her vets doggy daycare, where she did great, except the 10 minutes they separate them to calm down in crates). As soon as you let her out, she’s cool as a cucumber. We had a lot of nervous energy leaving her somewhere, but COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED! We got daily videos and updates, which made our hearts so happy. Our girl learned social cues from the other dogs she needed, and fit in perfectly with the pack. She will be going at least once a week to day care. Can’t thank them enough!!! If you’re on the fence, TRY THEM! This is your place!!

Words cannot adequately express how grateful and happy we are to have found Happy Hound K9 Social Club! Our sweet Maybelline was boarded with them, and the care was exceptional. It was so important to me for her to have a homelike environment where she could roam freely outdoors, and lounge in the comfort of a home instead of being kept in a kennel and having restrictions on her play time. Maybelline was able to keep her routine which kept her happy and eased my mind. I was given daily updates with photos, and the attention to her care and comfort was amazing. I honestly was worried she was having so much fun she would not want to return home! 😀 I was so reassured just knowing she was being loved, and well cared for while we were away. We are customers for life!
