It’s an empty parking lot, inside of a National Park, but you can’t park there unless you’re a resident of the rundown slum of Beverly Shores. It’s also right next to another parking lot, that is available to National Park visitors.

This parking lot is permit parking only for the residents of the town of Beverly Shores. They have the unusual distinction of being a pre-existing town that is located within a National Park (formerly known as a National Lakeshore).

This is not public parking for the National Park, this lot is for the local residents and requires a permit. Please respect that distinction. We have been blessed to park next door in the National Park lot and join some of the Beverly residents on the beach and they are a fantastic community. God bless and thanks again from our entire family for the fellowship and sharing stories about the lakeshore.
