Located in Bethany, WV, Bethany Park is a community hub known for its recreational fields and scenic surroundings. While the park is popular among locals for its sports facilities and even fishing, dog owners in Bethany and the surrounding areas will appreciate the open fields, making it a go-to spot for leisurely walks with your pet. The park is especially attractive for those seeking a dog-friendly space in Bethany, West Virginia, though it does not advertise a dedicated off-leash dog park or pet-specific amenities.
Though Bethany Park offers open grassy areas and sports fields, please note that amenities such as restrooms may be locked or members-only at times, and shade is limited, so bringing your own cover on sunny days is recommended. The tranquil environment and natural beauty make it worth a visit, but plan accordingly for amenities and prepare for limited cell reception. This family-friendly park is a solid option for dog walking and enjoying the outdoors with your furry friend in Bethany.

Bethany Park once you get that isn’t bad. But, good lord, just to get there is a challenge…. The field itself isn’t bad and the stands aren’t horrible, but there’s little shade if you want to actually see the game, so bring a tent and sit along the outfield fence… And as far as cell reception, you can forget it… It’s a black hole…..
We won our game there, but I HATED driving there and would NEVER wanna go back.

Been coming here for almost 10 yrs and all of a sudden they have the bathrooms locked and say it’s private , unless your a park member. This town wouldn’t even exist if it were for the college.
