It is a beautiful place to visit, to walk, pray and talk, it is quiet and has a beautiful view of the lake where you can spend hours of tranquility, the green areas are quite spacious if you want to have a picnic and if on the contrary you are looking for a place with a roof this place also has that! I just loved it, I defined it as calm, admirable, silent, fresh …..

Great park with river views and serene atmosphere. Kids would love the children’s play park. There are several options to sit and picnic around.

Badly damaged swing supports in playground area.
The rest of the wooden playground showed signs of wear. The wooden angled swing supports showed termite damage and hung off the ground. They swung from the vertical support. Very dangerous.

Trees down allover, with caution tape on the equipment as well. Drove all the way here from Niles just for it to be in ruins. Some of the equipment on the playground looks dangerous for children to be on regardless of the trees down. Hope they do something to help this park soon bc my family really liked it here.

As someone who frequents this park, I wanted to respond to the previous review from Jenny. You just review bombed a park in a town that just suffered from a pretty devastating storm last Wednesday. Trees have been uprooted and fallen all over Berrien Springs, and you are blaming the park because not everything has been repaired yet? It’s been a WEEK, Jenny. Don’t you have anything better to do with your time?

Objectively, this is an EXCELLENT park. GO HERE (not right after a storm, though) It has the biggest playground area of any park in the area and the views are gorgeous. Add to that the scenic view and basketball court they just installed and it’s everything you could ask for.

ALSO, a lot of Karen’s complaining about the wooden structures being “unsafe”…. I think I speak for this town when I say we would much rather have something built from wood that has character than some shiny, plastic, rainbow colored EYE SORE that is just as unsafe, polluting the park.
