Tower In The Park

Tower In The Park
Dog Swim Area
Parking

Tower In The Park is a pet-friendly apartment complex with amenities including a swimming pool, elevator, fitness center, and on-site parking. The complex is wheelchair accessible and maintains a clean environment, though some residents have noted issues with dated apartments and laundry facilities. It offers a welcoming atmosphere for dog owners and residents, though it is more of a residential community rather than a dedicated dog park area.

Everyone in charge truly doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the residents that live in their building.

One of the worst places I’ve ever lived; elevators, intercom, shared washers and dryers are constantly broken. Units, and laundry rooms are Dirty, bug ridden, smelly and moldy.

There is constant stealing of delivery packages and food from the lobby.

Management is a joke they will not fix any in unit issues even with multiple complaints. They jack up your rent monthly and at the end they will steal your deposit!

I lived here for 4 years so I wanted to provide a thorough review. Overall, I would not recommend this place. And upon moving out is when I found my money was mismanaged and I was no longer receiving my security deposit back so I wanted to provide an honest review.

I’ve seen property management change ownership and I’ve seen some “improvements”. With that comes increased rent, I pay over $200 more than when I first moved in. With the new ownership they switched the laundry rooms to brand new washers and dryers to be connected to an app and credit card machine; this was a huge improvement from previously having to put cash into a laundry card. There’s always been ongoing issues with how many washers or dryers are operating. $2/wash and $2 dry. There are laundry rooms on every floor with 3 washers and dryers. From my experience only 1 washer and 1 dryer worked consistently. I don’t think this apartment was worth the increases I recieved over the years and especially transitioning to the new property management group, AIY properties. When I first moved in my rent was $744 for my place and when I moved out the increase would have been to $1068. ITS NOT WORTH THAT.

Upon moving out I found out I would no longer receive my security deposit due to the first property management company mismanaging my money. So not until 4 years did I learn I would not be getting a security deposit back. If you’re moving out and started your lease with Zaremba – I wish you the best of luck causse you will need to follow up for your specurity deposit since AIY properties does not have those records. I was thoroughly disappointed to learn this as I expected my deposit post moving out.

The fire alarm…… goes off quite often, to the point where most people don’t even exit their apartment and stay inside. The first night I moved into the building the fire alarm went off and I was so scared and then it became a very regular thing. It seems to have been less frequent as of recently – but still occurs.

I’ve also had experiences with stolen packages several times.

I’ve never had a problem with hearing excess noise from neighbors before. I can’t hear other people talking, so the walls are pretty thick in my opinion. However, up until March of this year my upstairs neighbor is heavy footed and not sure what is constantly being moved around all hours of the day. I’ve never filed a complaint or anything like that because it’s not that bad but it is a lot more noticeable as of recently.

I’ve had mixed experiences with the leasing office as sometimes they would never follow up with me. I’ve had positive experiences speaking with Chelsea and Josh.

Chelsea was very friendly and welcoming in the past for touring an apartment. Unfortunately, this place left a bad taste in my mouth. There were bikes and vacuums all over the hallway. Using common area as personal storage. I’m sure maybe something has changed since my last visit but was not impressed. Only leaving a review since I keep getting emails if I’m interested in an apartment. No, thank you. Apartments itself seemed very dated.

We have lived here for two years, the apartments are fine for what they are, great location and mediocre but clean units. Management needs to stop letting Berea Police hang out in our parking lot and harass the residents. Just because we live in one of the cheapest places in town, doesn’t mean we should be discriminated against and treated as criminals just for walking into our home. We will not be renewing our lease for this reason.

Honest Review: We’ve lived here for about 9 months now. I’ve got to say that I agree with some of the reviews when it comes to the laundry room. The dryers never work and I have lost a lot of money using them just to realize that my clothes are still wet at the end. We are impressed with the sound barrier between neighbors. We hardly ever hear our neighbors. The only time we do is if somebody is going in and out of their apartment but that’s even rare unless their dogs are barking. We live right next to a stairwell which I thought was going to be a major pain but we really don’t hear people coming up and down the stairs much either. The police are here often however, this is a huge apartment complex. Like a small town. There’s going to be police here every once in a while due to the amount of people who live in these apartments. We have not had any issues with bugs. I think the fire alarm has gone off probably three times since we’ve been here. If you put in a maintenance request, you do need to stay on top of it because they don’t always respond. People in the office are great. Even if you call the office and hang up because you decide not to leave a message, they call you back if they see your number on caller ID to see if you needed anything. We live in a three-bedroom and the one thing that I do wish is that all the bedrooms had air conditioning units. Since we only have wall units in the living room and master bdrm, it’s difficult to cool the other two rooms, especially at night when our doors are shut. This leaves my kids with very warm rooms on hotter days. We’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with the residents here. We have great neighbors. Two things I would suggest is having the carpets replaced in the hallways. Since people have dogs here, you can tell that they’ve been here for a long time and there’s lots of smells coming from the carpets in the hallway. You can tell they do try to rectify this however, the smells just come back. I also do wish that they would put mirrors on the front and back of the garages so that when cars are coming around the corner, from behind the garages, we can see if there are cars coming. They seem to do a lot of different activities for the residents as well. My husband and I truly enjoy living here so far and really love our apartment. Yes the apartments are bit outdated on the inside and out but it could be worse. The grounds are kept up and are beautiful. I just wish the outside of the building was refreshed so it doesn’t look like the projects. These apartments definitely have great attributes and it seems as though they are working to improve things often. I also agree that the prices are a little steep for what the apartments are but we are very happy here and I would recommend this apartment complex to others.
